I have been dating this new guy, he's much younger than me, but I look atleast 15 or more younger than my age. It has not been an issue. His father is very sick and he has had to travel out of state consistently since we started dating so our time together has been scarce. He in back in the area again, but traveled into CA for a couple days and called last night he would be back today and wanted to take me out tonight, then text me at 9pm and said he was still in CA. This would not be a big deal, but this is like the 10th time something has come up and he's had to cancel a date. It's ery disheartening, I am trying to be understanding, but it hurts too. He called when he saw I was so upset and I just could hardly speak to him and he wants to set another date for this weekend my choice. But, I just don't trust him to make a date and then get disappointed again. He feels very bad and he seems truly genuine, but I feel like Im just not on the priority list and why would I subject myself to this? Thing is I feel like once we get thru this rocky period in his life,we may have a fantastic relationship, we have so much in common and so many things we want to do and enjoy together and we like each other a lot. I just don't know what to do? This disappointment is just driv ing me crazy. Please help!
